Team Leader is an integral part at all times of the 2SFG management team, fully supporting and being supported by the Managers and the members of the team.
Package Description1. Management of Production & Personnel
1.1. Monitor and report on individuals production outputs daily.
1.2. Report on production, faults and corrective action taken.
1.3. Ensure all production materials etc are ready for operators on the following shift.
1.4. Ensure operators are following current work specification procedures.
1.5. Encourage 'Best Place to Work' attitude with other employees.
1.6. Ensure personnel under your supervision work to company rules on breaks.
1.7. Liaise with training department to ensure all operators training schedules are completed on time.
1.8. Liaise with other department shift supervisors to aid in production flow and discuss daily production issues.
1.9. Ensure a high level of housekeeping at all times.
1.10. Monitor employee absence levels, conduct back to work interviews and conduct corrective action.
2. Quality
2.1. Work with Quality Department, management and production personnel in a proactive way to minimise quality problems.
2.2. Ensure all personnel are aware of quality systems and customers Q.C.I requirements.
3. Health & Safety, COSHH etc.
3.1. Ensure staff follow the Health & Safety guidelines and accident notification procedures.
3.2. Ensure that adequate numbers of trained first-aiders are available at all times.
4. Environmental Management System (EMS)
4.1. Maintain personal awareness of the EMS.
4.2. Liaise with training department to ensure that subordinates are trained in EMS awareness.
5. Additional Tasks
5.1. Manage subordinates to optimum effect. Note: Any substantial change to personnel working patterns or contracts must be agreed with H.R before implementation.
5.2. Be proactive with other departments / disciplines in the elimination / reduction of waste and cost from the process.
5.3. Perform any reasonable task within 2SFG and/or any subsidiary, holding or associated Company.
