This is a Commercial role which ensures that existing clients retain and grow their business with ArrowXL by managing the provision of the account management services to them.

Main Responsibilities

Role Specific:

  • Serve as the lead point of contact between ArrowXL and the client.
  • Building and maintaining a strong working relationship with the client.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the client’s contractual requirements throughout the term of their agreement and to plan and prepare regular client reviews.
  • Work with the ArrowXL Operational teams to ensure contractual KPI’s are met.
  • Work with the Head of Commercial Clients and Chief Commercial Officer to recommend and agree strategic growth opportunity plans for the client.
  • Work with the client and the ArrowXL Operational teams to identify specific requirements for peak/non-peak periods.
  • Work with the client and ArrowXL Operational and Finance teams to ensure that forecasts are provided in line with business requirements.
  • Monitor and manage KPI’s for revenue and contract renewal activities.
  • Ensure that accurate and relevant MI relating to KPI performance / volume’s / other service statistics are available.
  • Plan your own workload, priorities, and time management.
  • Working with the ArrowXL Operational teams, ensure that the correct processes are being followed as agreed with the client.
  • Working with the client and suppliers to identify peak / non-peak trailer and inbound / returns schedules.
  • Working with the client, identify and develop new volume streams.
  • Working with the client and ArrowXL Operational / Commercial teams, identify new services.
  • Collaborate with the ArrowXL sales team to identify volume growth opportunities.
  • Monitor client payment for services and respond to any debt situations in line with business requirements.
  • Work with the ArrowXL Finance team to ensure that rate reviews are concluded in line with business requirements.

People Management:

  • Communicates clearly so that any colleagues are aware of their objectives and the standards required.
  • Defines and manages day to day activities, being clear about priorities to ensure that deadlines are met
  • Accountable for ensuring the quality of the work at ‘Professional’ level

  • Seek advice from your Line Manager at the right time in cases of conflict amongst team.

The Ideal Candidate

Experience:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in leading and managing a portfolio of clients

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, able to navigate the corporate landscape, quickly establish credibility and build effective, collaborative, working relationships at all levels
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities
  • Able to act in a professional manner to the benefit of the company and always maintain confidentiality

Role Specific Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Ability to work remotely across multiple geographic locations
