As a member of the team, you will be given the opportunity to build strong working relationships across the Bromford business and add value from day one to help achieve defined targets.

You will be working in the Commercial & Logistics business unit playing a significant role as the key interface between the business and the external supply base. You will be evaluating, developing, and leading all supplier relationship management activities, with a focus on maximising value from all third-party arrangements and mitigating operational risk. You will be required to lead on special projects focused on sustainability, product innovation, cost savings and contract management ensuring that Bromford is compliant with public contract regulations (PCR2015).

You will have direct reports and provide support to the wider team ensuring efficient and compliant processes and procedures are developed and adhered to for sourcing and supplier management, therefore, developing supplier relationship management and key stakeholder engagement across Service Delivery. Accordingly, you must possess strong leadership skills, be customer focused and self-motivated with the ability to challenge the status quo and drive change.

To be successful in this role, you will

  • Have extensive experience operating within a Senior Procurement, Commercial or Supply Chain role
  • Have level 6 Qualification relating to Commercial Management, Contract Management and/or Supply Chain Management (CIPS)
  • Desirably have Level 7 Qualification in Supply Chain Management (MCIPS)
  • Have experience in managing a supply chain or supplier engagement programme
  • Have experience of delivering large procurement and commercial projects
  • Have demonstrable evidence-based experience in suppler review, grading, risk and analysis, driven towards developing lean and agile supply chains
  • Have working knowledge of Public Contract Regulations (PCR2015) (desirable but not essential)
  • Have experience of implementing supplier relationship management tools, commercial management frameworks and reporting
  • Have a flexible working attitude with time, travel and demonstrated reliability
  • Be able to drive and a full UK driving licence.

This is a roaming role that will cover the West Midlands, Gloucestershire and the West of England regions of the Bromford estate.

This is a permanent position. subject to a basic DBS check.
