DC Personnel are currently hiring for a mechanical maintenance engineer for our client based in Leicester LE9.

Salary : £14-£15 per hour DOE

Shift pattern:
- You will be working 07:00am – 17:00pm
- There will be overtime required for this position

Duties and responsibilities include:
- Using and maintaining specialised machines and tools
- Assembling components so they are ready for installation
- Reading and interpreting project plans
- Coordinating with the labour crew for efficient installations
- Performing MIG, TIG and other types of welding methods depending on the project
- Finding and fixing faults in pipework
- Carrying out planned maintenance checks
- Conserving resources wherever possible to ensure budgetary integrity and client satisfaction

Our Ideal candidate will come from a mechanical background as an Onsite Fitter from an engineering, production or manufacturing company.

Ideally you will have experience working with and maintaining Hydraulic presses and pneumatic tools and conveyor belts systems.
