We are pleased to be recruiting a Manual Borer for our client in S9, a well-established Engineering business with a proud heritage and modern strategy. They offer machining services to a wide range of companies across the UK as specialists in their field. As part of their continued growth and investment in skills they are recruiting experienced manual engineering machine operators.

This is a full time temporary to permanent role.

Basic rate of £14 per hour minimum

Overtime at Time and a third for the first 10 hrs and Time and a half after 10 hrs and Saturdays

Hours of work- Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm with an early finish of 12pm on Friday
Overtime

The role will involve-

• Operating manual machines and some CNC

• Machine setting and tool changes

• Controlling and observing the manual machine whilst in operation


The successful candidate will possess the following:

• Experience of operating manual engineering machines- preferably horizontal/ vertical borers
• Interested in learning new skills as well as developing existing skills
• CNC lathe experience will also be considered
