And right now we are looking for a Product Manager to join us. In this role you will be part of a unified Enterprise Digital Experience hub, that both services and leads the business in delivering intuitive, accessible, and consistent digital experiences – delivering on our brand promise and digitising the business.

You will work on digital-first brand propositions, showcase our flagship assets with aspirational online experiences. This role will work on digital products with involvement in strategy, planning and continuous improvement plans. Working with internal and external teams to ensure the customer and internal stakeholder requirements are successfully defined and implemented across a best-in-class digital experience.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Digital Product Lead to deliver the current roadmap for Saga website, MySaga and future platforms
  • Digital Product manager for a selection of enterprise and business unit brand propositions
  • Support Saga’s business units with subject matter capability to enable successful delivery of projects
  • Develop product vision, features and requirements. Framing customer needs, product problems, opportunities and benefits
  • Working with business units to fully understand product propositions and it’s competitive and customer environments
  • Passionate about customers’ needs and desires
  • Be the product owner and main business contact for decisions, ongoing improvements and measurement
  • Define requirements for future plans and create scoping documents alongside business analysts and project managers
  • Work with the UX & design teams to leverage excellent customer experiences (UX/UI) in solving experience challenges, developing visual concepts and designs
  • Responsible for the delivery of the digital experiences, signing of user stories and work completed with web development and QA teams
  • Work with the Senior Digital Analyst to use analytical evaluation (analytics and session recording) & conduct competitor analysis or research to support product recommendations, optimisation, testing using personalisation & new design
  • Working with external third parties to assess partnerships and solutions
  • Report on product success, preparing short-term and long terms reports and analysis, answering questions and requests
  • Project management, with particular focus on cross-functional team working.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Extensive experience of managing multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast paced, competitive environment
  • Proven experience in running beta and pilot programmes with early-stage products
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Experience in lean product management – testing, iterating and scaling inititives
  • Experience of analytics tools and using data to help prioritise roadmaps
  • Customer research
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional, confident, enthusiastic and committed
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending industry workshops, networking and professional societies.
  • Critical thinking and problem solving
