The Role

Job Title: Tenancy Sustainment Worker

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday, 9am to 5pm

This role requires you to visit people who have moved on to single, double or shared independent accommodation in the community. You will complete welfare checks, accommodation inspections and provide general support.

You will need to be supportive, personable and willing to help solve difficulties and issues arising from mental and physical health, addiction, accommodation problems and requests, paying and managing bills and living costs. You will be able to assist with interactions on the residents’ behalf with other agencies, such as GPs, mental health, police, energy suppliers along with councils and landlords.

The willingness to go the extra yard to help people achieve independent living is required as is the ability to report and record all interactions and events. You will have access to IT and office-based equipment at Cheltenham Office to ensure all requirements of the role are fulfilled. You will work closely with the Service Coordinator for the Accommodation Based Service, who will monitor your work and provide supervision, support and advice to ensure that you achieve the most from your role and progress.
