What you'll do

As a Digital Learning Creator you’ll:

  • Convert learning and development storyboards into engaging digital learning content for all of our people through e-authoring tools and other digital learning media.
  • Work with the L&D Managers and SMEs to agree content to be converted into a digital format.

  • Create engaging digital learning content by maximising the currently available tools.

  •  Produce the digital learning content in line with agreed Service Level Agreements set by the Digital Learning Manager with the L&D Managers and SMEs.

  • Playback the designed content to the L&D Managers and SMEs at agreed appropriate stages.

  • Ensure digital learning content meets required accessibility standards.

  •  Educate the L&D Managers and SMEs on the functionality and limitations of the existing tools.

  • Recommend enhancements to the L&D Managers and SMEs on their proposed storyboards to create engaging digital learning content.

  •  Support the Digital Learning Manager in researching and trialling alternative digital learning tools.

  •  Proof-read and feedback on colleagues’ content to refine our final product.

About you

You will fit right into this role if you can demonstrate:

  • A desire to create engaging digital learning content which excites our people to learn in this format.
  • Proven skills and competence in other software programmes, such as PowerPoint but not necessarily digital learning.
  •  The ability to challenge and make recommendations to the L&D Managers and SMEs on their suggested designs.
  • You are a strong team player, able to build good working relationships at all levels

  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Strong skills in planning, prioritising, and organising

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Multi-tasking and working with multiple priorities at pace, delivering results within tight timescales

  • You are self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and using own initiative

  • Enjoy being part of a hard-working team, sharing the same end goal, and celebrating results together

  • Are supportive of an inclusive culture – recognising and valuing that difference is good
