As the Head of Responsible Sourcing, you'll be the designer, implementer, and evolver of the organisations Responsible Sourcing strategy for UK & Ireland in alignment with our global Responsible Sourcing Framework, CSR Roadmap (Better Tomorrow 2025) and Social Value Pledge.

You will embed the responsible sourcing policies and procedures within our organisation to ensure all short and long term objectives are achieved and promoted to key internal and external stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage the regional Responsible Sourcing strategy, ensuring initiatives are designed and implemented to in alignment with our global Responsible Sourcing Framework, CSR Roadmap (Better Tomorrow 2025) and Social Value Pledge.
  • Lead a working group of Responsible Sourcing champions and subject matter experts to develop solutions which support & embed the strategy in the organisation
  • Engage with internal & external stakeholders and organisations to;
  • Gain knowledge & support of best practise to ensure the continuous improvement of Responsible Sourcing
  • Communicate & promote initiatives, achievements, and value with a focus on impact reporting and case studies.
  • Collaborate with supply chain partners to influence them to flow the initiatives apush down their Supply Chain 
  • Attend and lead internal and external meetings including presentations to colleagues, clients, industry groups and government bodies across UK & Ireland
  • Develop a catalogue of Responsible Sourcing collateral to support internal stakeholders to articulate the value of Sodexo and co-ordinate the completion of surveys from external stakeholders including clients, industry groups and government bodies across UK & Ireland.
  • Work with colleagues to evolve and automate data management processes to ensure access to complete, accurate and accessible data required to measure our impact we have, with a preference to generate this as part of our own systems were possible.
  • Lead the Supply Chain Inclusion Programme through the co-ordinatation of meet the buyer and industry linking events to provide opportunities to diverse organisation to work with Sodexo in the future.
  • Lead the Supply Chain Mentoring Programme ensuring we support our partners to develop in key areas such as sales, marketing, procurement through pro-bono mentorship from internal mentors across the organisation.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Demonstrable passion for Responsible Sourcing
  • Strong change management skills and demonstrates achievement in driving business performance through developing and leading initiatives
  • Experience in Supply Management roles, ideally in FM / Foodservice market, with good general knowledge of procurement strategies, policies & procedures
  • Ability to build strong relationships at all levels and influence audiences both internally and externally
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Good research and analytical skills
  • Pro-active, energetic, and tenacious individual
  • Ability working on own or team, in a multi-cultural and matrix environment
