About the role 

Are you the go-to person...the one who answers the questions, with the know of how to keep the facilities running like clockwork? At Sodexo our facilities management professionals are at the heart of what we do and we are looking to recruit a Maintenance Electrician to support the operation and maintenance at Queens Mary's Hospital, Roehampton.

As an electrician you will ensure the system is fully competent in the fault diagnosis, repair and testing of all electrical plant equipment. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance services both inside and outside of operating hours.

A few things about you

We are looking for a fully qualified Electrician holding a City & Guilds/NVQ qualification, or equivalent. You must be qualified to 18th Edition IET Regulations.

You must have experience of repairing plant and equipment, have the ability to fault find, read drawings, diagnose and repair using your technical knowledge on equipment.

As Sodexo embeds a strong Safety culture in everything we do there will be procedures, site specific guidelines/ requirements and regulations to follow such so it is vital that you have a good understand of Health and Safety at Work regulation and previous experience adhering to set engineering standards. 

You must be a strong team player with great communication skills, who enjoys working as part of a well established team. You must be able to work unsupervised and be able to prioritise work tasks whilst remaining calm under pressure/  You will also need to have a basic knowledge of use of a tablet or an I-pad.
