As a Control Systems Engineer, you will provide subject matter expertise to colleagues for control systems in operation, ensuring that the manufacturing infrastructure is maintained and developed in line with the business requirements.

You will be responsible for:

  • Scheduling and completing regular maintenance systems to ensure they are up to date and operate to the appropriate code of practice
  • Developing robust infrastructure control systems and building front line capability to ensure routine problem solving is actioned by operations colleagues 
  • Designing fit for purpose systems and training to build colleague fault finding and enhance the engineering team capability
  • Maintaining all IT solutions to the manufacturing infrastructure systems to ensure integration into the business systems network

As a Control Systems Engineer, you will use your experience of maintaining an Engineering System within a manufacturing environment as well as your high level engineering skills to cover all systems such as PLC, SCADA and three term controllers and pneumatics.
