Currently recruiting for a Press Operator for a manufacturing company based in Birmingham. This will be a permanent position, within an exciting business that are experiencing a lot of growth.

Press Operator.
Location: Birmingham.

Salary:

• £10.50-£14.00 per hour + Overtime

The Job:

• For the role of Press Operator, you will be Operating a Progression Press machine.
• Loading and unloading of parts.
• Quality Inspection of parts using micrometers, Vernier’s and gauges will be required for the role of Press Operator.
• Working from Engineering drawings to BS / ISO standards is required for the role of Press Operator.

Job Requirements:

• For the role of Press Operator, experience on a Progression Press is benificial but not essential.
• Ability to interpret and work to Engineering drawings is required for the role of Press Operator.
• Ability to plan and work from own initiative, with minimum supervision.
• Applicants will need to demonstrate attention to detail and reliability.

Shift pattern:
• You will be working an afternoon / night shift for the role of Press Operator.
