Currently recruiting for a CNC Setter for a manufacturing company based in Birmingham. This will be a permanent position, within an exciting manufacturing business that are experiencing a lot of growth.
CNC Setter.
Location: Birmingham.
Salary:
• Up to £17.00 per hour + Overtime
The Job:
• For the role of CNC Setter, you will be Setting and Operating various CNC machines such as Hurco and Haas.
• Loading and unloading of parts.
• Quality Inspection of parts using micrometers, Vernier’s and gauges will be required for the role of CNC Setter.
• Working from Engineering drawings to BS / ISO standards is required for the role of CNC Setter.
Job Requirements:
• For the role of CNC Setter, experience with Hurco and/or Haas would be highly beneficial.
• Experience with Winmax controls would be beneficial, but other experience would be considered.
• Ability to interpret and work to Engineering drawings is required for the role of CNC Setter.
• Ability to plan and work from own initiative, with minimum supervision.
Shift pattern: 7am – 4pm Mon – Thurs, and 7am – 1pm on Friday!
