Finance Assistant to help the Finance Department with finance/administrative tasks. Ad hoc duties assigned by Management Accountant

Main Responsibilities

You will be recording, coding & processing purchase/subcontract invoices after completing checks, whilst dealing with both internal and external supplier queries. You will be inputting sales invoices onto the computer system as required, inputting timesheets into payroll system after completing checks as required and help Management accountant complete month end tasks.  You will have general office duties as request, and will be dealing with the recording and processing of invoices and collating monthly data for reporting purposes.

The Ideal Candidate

You will have some exposure of the back office of a finance department, be comfortable with financial administration and ideally have an interest in progressing your career within finance. You will ideally have some background in finance and experience working within financial administration and be comfortable supporting senior management with daily finance tasks. You will need to be reliable, have a great attention to detail and have great communication skills. A good knowledge of excel is essential as you will be using Excel & MS Windows & Computerised Accounting System.
