RMG is one of the largest and most respected property management companies in the country managing over 120,000 household across the UK. We are now looking to appoint a Transformation Manager to lead on a range of back office, business support projects, and to implement best practice principles across our teams.

The successful candidate will manage a team of Business Analysts and Project Managers, providing guidance and mentoring for your team alongside their on-going career development. You will use your experience to guide and support your team whilst continuously improving business transformation.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and embed best practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement geared towards improving back office practices
  • Manage Business Critical Transformation Projects in an agile way
  • Lead in defining the approach to the analysis and design phases of project/programmes including ensuring it is adequately resourced and quality assured.
  • Co-ordinate, structure, and lead a team of Business Analysts (BA) and Project Managers (PM); be responsible for their coaching, on-going career development and continual improvement of project delivery
  • Plan and co-ordinate project work to support the business improvement project
  • Provide technical expertise throughout the Business Analyst A and Project Management skill set including Agile working, process management, effective stakeholder management, problem-solving skills.
  • Embed change management and project management best practice across the business
  • Act as point of contact between different departments within the company and relevant third parties.
  • Identify any risks regarding changes and develop a strategy to overcome or address these.
  • Implement any changes sensitively and with minimal disruption
  • Support Public Sector Contractual Service

Skills, knowledge, and experience

  • An enthusiastic professional; aware and active in maintaining knowledge and experience of a broad range of industry practices in business analysis, strategic analysis, agile and technical analysis (BCS, BABOK)
  • Experience in driving and embedding agile project management and ways of working
  • Has prior experience of analysis management, or analysis practice management
  • Evidence of professional development e.g. ISEB/BCS or IIBA business analysis qualification.
  • Extensive experience of business analysis, successfully designing, shaping, and implementing

business outcomes for a range of projects

  • Proven leadership & line management credentials demonstrating excellent engagement skills and customer centric behaviour
  • Knowledge in various modelling techniques such as Business Process Modelling, UML, use cases / user stories / epics / user journeys
  • Experience of having developed business analysts to deliver a best practice service and support an organisation to embed business analysis techniques
  • Knowledge of ADKAR, or similar goal orientated management change models, may be advantageous
  • Ability to influence key decision makers

  • Experience of using collaborative tools e.g. Jira, Trello, Agile Accelerator etc.

Professional qualifications

  • BCS Business Analysis Certification or Equivalent
  • Agile Business Analyst or Project Management Certification
