** At Saga we’re radically flexible which means our colleagues have total autonomy over where they work – home, hybrid or hub. This role has a hybrid element which means our team come together when we need to collaborate.

We at Saga Media have one mission: To inspire, help and entertain those that know experience matters. We’re building a site for readers that know what they want, what they enjoy and are looking for a site that acknowledges their special experience, knowledge and circumstances and allows them to live life to the fullest.

The Channel Editor of Fitness Tech will be someone who has been enjoying writing about gadgets to improve our health and is desperate to share that passion with our wide-ranging Saga audience through industry-leading reviews, buying guides, interviews and user stories, as well as news, features, opinion pieces and video.

You’ll also be someone deeply passionate about developing staff writers – at Saga Media, we champion giving opportunities to the talented writer that might not always have the traditional experience. You’ll be able to share your experience and inspirational writing style to help them create amazing content for our readers across social, video and written copy.

While this role will sit within the tech team, you’ll also need to make sure you’re liaising with the EIC of Fitness multiple times per week to ensure all content is clear and planned.

Essentially, we’re looking for someone passionate and experienced with fitness tech who’s ready for the challenge of their life in a newly formed media business. We’re looking for someone curious, someone not afraid to try new things, to experiment with key article types, social campaigns and clever ways of getting our readers engaged and represented on the site and be proud of the results too.

If that’s you then send us your CV and – most importantly – a great covering letter explaining why you’re the perfect fit for the job – we can’t wait to hear from the perfect candidate.
