Lifting Equipment Technician, Swansea

Monday to Friday ​7.30pm - 5pm

  • Testing and maintenance of lifting equipment such as genie lifts, chain hoists, chain blocks, etc
  • Carry out fault finding procedures, repairing any defects found and restoring equipment ensuring they are safe and presentable, ready for the next customer to hire
  • Prioritising work to meet depot requirements

The role of a Lifting Technician is a busy and productive role in the depot. Whilst the role brings responsibility, it’s a perfect opportunity for you to build a career in engineering with us, where you can learn from those around you and develop with our award-winning, in-house training courses.

What you’ll need:

  • Driving licence
  • Excellent knowledge of hydraulics and mechanical equipment
  • Ensure that high standards of health and safety in the workplace are maintained
  • Able to work on your own or in a team
  • A great work ethic
  • Able to think on your feet
