Our Northampton based client has an exciting opportunity for Machine Setters/operators to join their team. As a machine setter, you will be at the forefront of the manufacturing process, creating products for sectors for this large packaging company. You will be working as part of a team, with knowledgeable, supportive colleagues to provide customers with first rate products and service

Main Duties:
Programming, Setting, and operating CNC Machines Quality checking own work. Troubleshoot and make adjustments to offset coordinators. Read and understand technical drawings.

Qualifications
3 years + experience as a CNC programmer is very advantageous
Skills
Skills and Background:
Have a good understanding of technical drawings. Must be a proactive team player, with a positive 'can do' attitude.
Must be able to setup, program and operate CNC machines.
Knowledge of SCM machines or similar and able to quickly adapt.
