Are you wanting to use your experience in administration roles to support our adult care services to provide an outstanding experience?

Staffordshire County Council are looking for a motivated person who can provide administrative support to facilitate efficient operations and the delivery of excellent care and support.

 

This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.

Main Responsibilities

You will support the Business Support Coordinator to provide administration and business support for CQC regulated and non-regulated services, including residential care, supported living, respite, specialist day opportunities and home care. The role involves purchasing and financial transactions, records management, internal and external customer service and auditing.

This is a full-time role, working remotely with travel to services in the south of the county.

The Ideal Candidate

What you will bring

You are enthusiastic about working with people with learning disabilities and autism and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

You will have good customer service skills, organisation, time management and problem-solving skills.

What you will have

  • Business Administration qualification, NVQ Level 2 or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and confidentiality
  • Knowledge of legislation, policies, processes guidance and best practice to ensure that the service supported is continually improving.
  • Experience working in an administration role
  • Experienced and confident in handling cash and being financially accountable
  • Experience working in a team
  • Intermediate level of information and communication technology skills
