Coventry Bereavement Service work tirelessly to deliver the highest possible standards of service to all bereaved families at their time of need.

We are responsible for the provision of burial across 6 cemeteries located city wide, the management of Canley Crematorium and Gardens of Remembrance as well as various other sundry services including the provision of Public Health Funerals and post cremation memorialsation. Through the hard work, commitment and dedication of our skilled team of colleagues we are able to deliver a highly demanding service demonstrating both empathy and compassion.

What is the job role?

You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of all activities within statutory legislation associated with, the Crematorium and the City Cemeteries, Social Funerals, Memorial Safety, the Memorial Mason Registration Scheme, Memorial Marketing and the public reception.

Who are we looking for?

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills, be able to communicate in all forms including face to face, in writing and by telephone. You will have excellent administration capabilities and have knowledge and understanding of the legislation regards the provision of burial and cremation. Preferably you will have previous experience working within the Bereavement Service industry, however full training will be supplied.

  2. Your previous experience supplying excellent customer service.
  3. Details of your previous experience working within an administration background.
