As a Healthy Family Practitioner you’ll join a team who are focused on having a positive impact on children and families by supporting those in your local community through facilitating parenting groups and offering 1:1 guidance to really make our service users and staff feel the difference.

As a Healthy Family Practitioner within HCRG you’ll join a team who are focused on delivering impeccable customer service to our staff and service users working with parents and families to help the children reach their potential and to really make our service users and staff feel the difference.
Your days will be challenging but rewarding and include: Supporting Parents on a 1:1 basis, active participation and facilitation of parent groups and staff training all underpinned by the Solihull Approach.
You will be based primarily in one geographical area but could potentially cover other parts of Lancashire as and when required and may be expected to complete evening work when facilitating parenting groups on occasion.
The Ideal CandidateYou will have a NNEB qualification, or equivalent to BTEC (National Diploma in Nursery Nursing), a sound understanding of child development, parenting and the ability to facilitate behavioural programmes along with the ability to communicate with people from a wide range of social economic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds. It is essential that the successful applicant have a valid driving licence with access to a car for work purposes.
You will also need to be confident using IT systems and be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel.
