So…. What is this role exactly?

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Officer based at Hollymere Retirement Living Scheme, New Grosvenor Rd Ellesmere Port Cheshire CH65 2HH

We are a committed team working hard to offer our customers excellent customer service and this role plays a vital role in keeping our residents both safe and happy.

We’re looking for someone who has previous experience of delivering a building maintenance and general handyperson activities.

What will my working week look like? 

You’ll be working 30 hours over 5 days - 9am-4pm on Monday -Friday. 

What will I be responsible for doing?

First & foremost, you will be responsible for delivering a building maintenance and general handyperson service.  You will be….

  • carrying out basic repairs and maintenance and health and safety inspections
  • undertake waste management activities
  • maintaining the fire alarm, CCTV and door entry system
  • escalating fault reports to contractors

To be a successful Site Officer, here at YHG, you will have….

  • previous experience of delivering a building maintenance and general handyperson activity
  • experience of working alone and organising your own workload
  • experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and internet browsers.
  • excellent communication skills when liaising with colleagues, customers and contractors
  • a passion for supporting the elderly
