Playworker

Grade 2 – Permanent – All year round

15.5 hours per week ( Morning and Afternoon Shift)

We are looking for a Play Worker to join our established and successful Before and After School Club for September 22. We currently operate sessions 7.30 am – 8.45 am, 3.00 pm – 5.30 pm and all holidays 8.00 am – 5.00 pm (except Christmas, bank holidays and teacher training days).

The role involves setting up and putting away equipment, assisting in the preparation and serving of snack, providing creative play opportunities, supervising outdoor play and assisting in clearing up.

We are looking for someone who has a good understanding of what makes good quality child care preferably holding or working towards level 3 qualifications or higher in child care.  You will also need the ability to create and maintain satisfactory levels of behaviour, have good communication skills and be able to work effectively in a small team.

Must be willing to undertake further training as and when required.
