We have 1 x Mechanical Apprentice role available.

The hours of work and shift patterns are: 07:00 - 16:00, Monday to Friday

As an Apprentice within our engineering department you will receive good all-round training in mechanical engineering practice.

You will support our engineering team with general duties on site as well as learning towards a qualification. 

The ideal Apprentice would have excellent verbal English and good communication skills. You will be prepared to learn and develop with on the job training and guidance.

You will have a 'can-do' attitude and be flexible in your approach to work.

You will have a good all-round education with Math, English and Science. Within your application you should be able to demonstrate some experience within a similar field and/or a qualification that can show a basic understanding of engineering. 

Driver's license would be preferred.

UK Poultry represents more than half of 2 Sisters’ business by sales. The division employs over 8,500 people working in a chilled environment to process poultry products which are then marketed to consumers via major retailers. Our colleagues work across ten primary sites across the UK, where chickens are transported from nearby farms for processing and at our cutting sites prepared for portioning, deboning, and filleting. UK Poultry predominantly produces private-label products for major retailers. We know our proficiency is in processing, so we work with experts in other fields such as: hatching, farming, animal husbandry and transport to ensure that our supply chain is as effective and efficient as possible.
