The Focus of the Role:

The Global Change Manager will be responsible for the planning, designing, organizing and implementing change activities in the context of the various strategic, organizational and technical transformation initiatives within Bauer. As part of the Transformation & Change team within the Group HR People & Culture Development department the person needs to actively manage the people side of the change on eye-level with the respective project management and leadership.

At the same time, the Global Change Manager ensures alignment with the overarching cultural ambition of Bauer, connected people and culture development processes and programs and Group wide behavioural frameworks.

Due to organizational and business complexity, strategy, structure as well as a clear understanding and experience in driving change on all levels is crucial for the success of the Change Manager. Hands on mentality as well as “can-do” attitude to implement targeted and effective measures is needed.

The Global Change Manager will manage the transformation project up to its successful implementation with strong stakeholder management and collaboration with other workstreams.

Furthermore, she/he work with the other members of the Transformation & Change team to design a group-wide Bauer specific Transformation & Change methodology as well as build capabilities subsequently.

Additional task and/or project assignments are subject to ongoing needs and discussion.

Main Responsibilities
  • Drive transformation of target culture
  • Plan, design and run change management activities in groupwide transformation programs
  • Plan, design, organize and track groupwide people & culture transformational roadmap under consideration of people processes and business priorities
  • Design and introduce Bauer tailored change approach with group-wide standards
  • Align and manage stakeholders
  • Establish change network
  • Design and run engagement workshops (plan, organize, write concept, prepare material and moderate/conduct workshops, monitor progress)
  • Foster modern working habits and design and implement required activities
  • Upskill global HR community and business resources with regards to these topics
  • Consult and coach with regards to change and transformational topics
Person Specification
  • A proven background within in relevant work experience (i.e. all people related topics within large and complex transformation programs)
  • University degree
  • Advanced experience and knowledge of change management practices and tools
  • Ability to see the big picture but also interest and willingness to do hands-on work connected to details
  • Advanced project management skills – Ability to plan, organize and drive projects through pilot and implementation phase
  • Exceptional analytical, conceptional and communication skills
  • Experience in the design, concept and monitoring of modern change activities
  • Highly flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations and with changing targets
  • High learning agility and interest to search for, evaluate and learn new upcoming approaches and tools with regards to people processes, transformation as well as working culture
  • Feel comfortable advising on change and people development topics
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
