The role

The HRIS Project Manager is responsible for managing the delivery and implementation of QS new Global HRIS solution globally. The role is responsible for the management of project resources, schedules, financials and adherence to the project plan.

The role will work alongside our People, IT and Quality colleagues to ensure that the system is validated and implemented in accordance with internal quality control standards and external governing bodies guidance/regulation. The role will work with the pre-defined project scope, developing the execution plan and working across the function to define necessary resources to ensure delivery as planned and to meet company objectives

The role is also responsible for measuring and reporting each project to predefined aspects of scope, time, cost, and quality during project execution and at closeout.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, measure and report on all aspects of the project; including planning, executing, tracking, measuring, and reporting to closure and post closure.
  • Report and record risks, mitigations and changes through the system implementation lifecycle.
  • Engagement with internal and external stakeholders ensuring all project/program aspects considered and issues and risks managed to ensure appropriate delivery.
  • Manage the HRIS project from kick-off to implementation.
  • Ensure that project proceeds according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards.
  • Provide direction for project team members by building and motivating team members to meet project goals.
  • Ensure that implemented software system is delivered in accordance with computerized system validation processes.
  • Liaise with operational teams to manage the day-to-day project activities.
  •  Work with the people team to define the user roles (personas) to ensure system suitability and opportunity for efficiency.
  • Complete the people activities to ensure system implementation meets specific timescales, adheres to GDPR and systems governance requirements engaging others input as needed.
  • Support capture of current people processes, make recommendations on optimisation of processes and collaborate with the wider people team to agree future ways of working, focussed on excellent colleague and candidate experience within the new system environment.
  • Support cleansing of current data and prepare for a smooth data transfer to the new system.
  • Participate in system testing and attest to readiness for implementation alongside the wider team.
  • Review system training material for applicability to the organisation and lead training linked to the roll out of the new system to Superusers and across the organisation, covering all system elements.
  • Support the development of a people metrics/reporting dashboard to meet business needs.
