As the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner for Technology & Data you will be responsible for roles within our IT, Change Management and Data teams. Although there will also be a requirement to assist in the recruitment of other areas across Saga.

A critical role within the team, you will have a large degree of autonomy to build relationships with your stakeholder groups, design appropriate talent attraction approaches alongside the Talent Acquisition Business Partners, and support the development of team members on their career journey

The ideal candidate will have experience of senior-level or specialist roles with demonstrable experience of building strong stakeholder relationships and a proactive approach to hiring manager and candidate management.

Main Responsibilities
  • Full recruitment lifecycle for professional roles, including senior-level hires and specialist roles
  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Business Partners and Talent Acquisition Manager to connect business hiring priorities to sound sourcing strategies
  • Proactively headhunt exceptional talent and be a champion for the Talent Acquisition team
  • Establish and maintain relationships with business leaders at all levels
  • Stay connected with external market factors as well as new best practices/trends affecting recruiting
  • Use internal and external market data to advise the business on recruiting and hiring decisions
  • Understand the importance of the candidate's experience and the ability to operate with a customer focused mindset at all times 
  • Ability to think creatively and design innovative sourcing campaigns (includes advanced Boolean search skills) to engage passive candidates
  • Provide an excellent customer and candidate experience
  • Support the wider Talent Acquisition team in coaching on candidate research and sourcing
The Ideal Candidate
  • Proven impact and influence skills and track record of successfully engaging with senior leaders to drive the recruitment strategy
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Flexible and adaptable style, can easily recruit across different functions at different levels
  • The successful candidate will need to have first-class interpersonal skills, to liaise with internal stakeholders to director level
  • Experience managing the full recruitment life cycle from inception to completion including social media, marketing, advertising, interviewing.
  • Sourcing – demonstrate understanding of, and a track record in, utilising creative and effective methods to source quality candidates directly, as well as the confidence, organisation and interpersonal skill to be able to approach passive candidates for roles.
  • Personal Organisation – You will possess excellent organisational skills and will be comfortable managing a high volume workload
  • You will be an outstanding communicator who is adept at forging long-standing, productive relationships at all levels within the business. You will focus on quality and hiring manager / candidate experience to ensure that all our customers receive a first class service
  • Solution focused, always looking at how we can ensure that both hiring manager and candidate needs are met
  • Experience of recruiting for specialist roles across Technology & Data
