Sodexo have a fantastic opportunity for a Head of Performance, Delivery and Diversity at our prison site, HMP Northumberland. 

This role will be directly reporting to the Director of the prison, and responsible for improving performance against both the contract and other business targets. In this role you will be identifying and implementing changes which will improve the overall performance of the prison.

What we need from you; an excellent eye for detail and great commercial awareness. You should have experience working within a performance driven culture and an understanding of financial and reputational risks along with budgetary constraints.

Main Responsibilities
  • Prison Performance Tool – performance measures, trend analysis and driving up performance 
  • Linking in with the CMT on Assurance / Compliance Test outcomes and co-ordinating improvements across the prison 
  • Oversight of ongoing audit work, managed by the Business Hub 
  • HMIP Recommendation management and readiness preparation for future inspections 
  • Managing CDI performance and mitigating risks relating to performance and financial penalties 
  • Improved ways of work within the Business Hub to create a leaner model of operation  
  • Project initiation and management relating to the improving general application and complaint responses in order to create better confidence in the resolution of queries and complaints across the board 
  • Lead on the co-ordination of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strand work and data analysis
