Nottingham City Homes are looking for an Employability Manager to join their team.  

£44,539 - £47,573 per annum

37 hours per week

Fixed term/ secondment opportunity for 12 months

Nottingham City Homes have an exciting opportunity to lead on the design and delivery of employability related activities and the tackling of unemployment including sector-based work academies, community outreach, traineeships, training and qualifications.

Responsible for:

• Ensuring effective integration of employability activity companywide and responsible for the design, implementation and monitoring of the Employability Strategy
• Responsible for all apprenticeship recruitment using employability routes and appropriate funding to find jobs for local people
• Forging relationships and partnerships with NCH managers, the City Council/Councillors, employers and local organisations to reduce unemployment among our tenants and residents
• Managing the Women in Construction initiative, helping to increase female representation across our construction, repairs and maintenance activity
• Leading on the identification and applications oof employability funding opportunities
• Establishing robust processes to ensure audit, compliance and KPI requirements are met
