Greencore Consett currently have a few different vacancies within the Hygiene team which all focus on different key areas. Please see below the duties of each role:

Potwash Op

• Focusing on the cleanliness of the equipment and Utensils we use to create our food products.
• Ensuring that we use the right chemicals and that they are stored correctly.
• Identifying if any of the trays, equipment or Utensils are damaged and reporting it in the appropriate manner

Cleaner

• Responsible for floor care, performing various surface tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and spot-cleaning carpets of all office areas and non-production areas.
• Responsible for the maintenance tables, chairs, and counters, carrying out tasks such as dusting, spraying, and cleaning
• Removing waste in office areas and non-production areas
• Cleaning and sanitizing of restrooms daily
• Cleaning of windows in conference rooms, management offices, etc.
• Dusting, disinfecting, and polishing of surfaces and furniture as needed
• Reporting repairs and replacements encountered when executing daily tasks.

Hygiene Op

• Carry out day to day hygiene activities in line with daily requirements ensuring operational integrity  
• Review equipment and highlight damage, escalating risks to the appropriate personnel  
• Ensure that chemicals are used and stored correctly  
• Ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately and submitted to the correct personnel
•  Follow work instructions highlighting any issues to the Hygiene Senior Operator 
• Promote a good health, safety and environmental culture within the department
• Identify and highlight any opportunities that make sustainable improvements to increase quality, performance in support of the overall shift plan 

Vacancies

• Potwash Op - Double Days, Monday to Friday 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm - £9.80 an hour
• Cleaner - Days, Monday to Friday 30 hours a week - £9.65 an hour
• Hygiene Op - Nights, Monday to Friday 10pm-6am - up to £10.75 an hour (depending on duties within Hygiene team)
