Due to their current workload our Leeds Plant & Transport team are looking to recruit an assistant, to provide support to the plant manager, dispatchers and administrators. This role has the opportunity for career progression and skill set enhancement. Working in a continually evolving department embracing challenges and improving processes to "Work Smarter – Not Harder".

Main Responsibilities

Up-hold the expectations of the operations management teams across three depots, in relation to the availability of plant, vehicles and equipment. 

Adhere to legislative obligations, safe working practices, company policy and lean process principles. 

Take ownership of the small tools operation, defect reporting and rectification process of plant, vehicles and equipment.  

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be GCSE educated within Math’s and English. You will have experience of working in a similar role, either for a Plant Hire company or commercial vehicle hire company. A full clean driving license is essential.
