As a qualified lawyer, you will assist with all aspects of running a case from initial interview of client to trial, with an understanding of the issues involved in dealing with multi-track cases, such as costs and the litigation process.

You will have experience with Clinical Negligence or of cases of equivalent complexity. The role requires excellent communication and client care skills, demonstrating an ability to empathise with vulnerable clients is essential. We require someone who is self-sufficient and thrives in a busy working environment. You will also be a team player and will enjoy engaging in marketing and business development opportunities.

A day in the life of an Lawyer is never the same, however a typical day may include carrying out relevant investigations, obtaining relevant documents, preparing witness statements; preparing for Conferences and Court hearings (CCMCs/Trials).

Key Requirements:

• At least 2 years PQE
• You will be self-sufficient and thrive in a busy working environment
• Excellent communication and client care skills, demonstrating an ability to empathise with vulnerable clients is essential
• Empathy with the Labour and trade union movement is desirable
