Exciting opportunity for the Strategic Asset Manager to join our Asset Team

We are currently looking for a Strategic Asset Manager who share our Ambitious, Accountable, and Inclusive value, committed to communities and doing the right thing to make a positive difference.

Making optimal use of our assets so that we can deliver more housing for the community and maintain our existing homes to modern high-quality standards expected by our customers.

This role will be an integral part of the Asset Team, reporting the Head of Asset Management. You’ll ensure we have excellent asset data and set our long-term investment programmes. You’ll develop how we evaluate asset performance and lead on options appraisals where required, including disposals. You’ll lead on implementing the asset management strategy and developing and implementing asset quality standards.

Being super-efficient and forward thinking in your approach to property management influencing the direction of our Asset Management Strategy and investment work. Use your leadership skills and technical knowledge to shape the vision and delivery of property related services across the organisation.

The Strategic Asset Manager:

Responsible for implementing the Asset Management Strategy and Delivery Plan

Ensure asset data is collected and maintained to enable sound investment planning and asset performance reviews.

Develop and maintain a 30 Year Asset Plan including 5-year programmes that inform the annual budget setting process.

Own Eastlight’s asset performance model. Produce reports analysing and pre the performance of Eastlight’s portfolio.

Play significant role in developing and implementing short-, medium- and long-term plans to deal with underperforming assets, including remodelling, redevelopment, and disposal.

Identify best practice to maximise return on investment for Eastlight’s portfolio.

£58,325 annual base salary.
