As HSE Technician you will provide day to day guidance and project-based support, to Line Management and HSE Managers on all operational Health, Safety and Environment activities, ensuring a safe working environment is maintained in alignment with Group policy. 

Key Accountabilities: 

• Compile and record Health, Safety and Environment statistical data to deliver site reporting requirements, includes, safety and environmental reporting in line with legislative and group requirements
• Maintain the Site Health, Safety and Environment systems to ensure adherence to all relevant legislation and agreed internal standards
• Conduct routine Risk Assessments and reports in line with location requirements to monitor compliance with Group policy
• Support both internal and external Health, Safety and Environment audits and inspections to meet with agreed guidelines and standards
• Support the delivery of basic Health, Safety and Environment training to factory floor colleagues (e.g. Behavioural Safety, Tool box talks) to support the Greencore Way of keeping people healthy and safe
• Maintain risk assessments, standard operating procedures, tool box talks and newsletters to support the delivery of the Site Health, Safety and Environment plan

• National/professional qualification in Health, Safety and Environment or related field or ongoing HSE Apprenticeship
• Working and up to date knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment legislation and its application
