Project Manager – Commercial Services

£40,478 - £43,516 per annum, plus excellent benefits package

37 hours per week

Working across Nottingham City

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager who will be working within Commercial Services to be a part of delivering multiple projects on behalf of Nottingham City Council. You will have excellent project management skills, with both an attention to detail and full understanding of delivering multi-million-pound projects.

The role:

As an experienced Project Manager you will enjoy the challenge of seeing a project from beginning to end, be able to use your effective planning skills to manage multiple projects and be able to manage conflicting demands and changing priorities. 

You will be responsible for fully managing projects, including making informed decisions, assessing problems and the potential for improvements, and negotiating with project team members, elected members, senior management and other stakeholders including leaseholders.

You will demonstrate an understanding of our Clients requirements and assist in meetings including taking and producing minutes as well as assisting with compilation of contract documents, business cases and project plans.

The person:

You will be an excellent communicator and will enjoy developing strong working relationships with both colleagues and external partners. This role will be working with a direct workforce as well as contractor workforces, and as such experience of working in this environment is essential; we are looking for someone able to develop effective relationships and work collaboratively to deliver the best results.
