And right now, we are looking for a Digital Learning Specialist to join our L&D Team. This is an opportunity to be an integral part of a growing team in a newly created role, where you will strengthen our learning transformation strategy. You will develop and execute the digital learning strategy to support the overall learning vision and support the business in delivering its priorities. Working closely with the L&D Manager, internal stakeholders, and suppliers to deliver industry-leading learning solutions, made up of inspiring digital experiences and resources.

Main Responsibilities
  • Working with the L&D Manager to design and implement a digital learning strategy for Saga Travel Group, which supports our overall strategy for the business unit, and links into the wider Saga Group learning objectives.
  • Assess the current learning processes and identify courses and sessions that can be transformed to a blended or full digital learning format.
  • Design digital learning solutions in collaboration with internal stakeholders and L&D Manager.
  • Develop design standards and working practices and support the creation of an STG Learning brand.
  • Be an advocate for Digital Learning across STG and promote on all channels.
  • Curate existing resources to provide complete learning solutions.
  • Manage a range of partners and suppliers.
  • Assess and evaluate efficacy of digital learning solutions and create a continual improvement culture.
  • Decide on the criteria used to judge learner’s performance and develop assessment instruments.
  • Track and assess learner performance, providing feedback to relevant stakeholders. 
  • Test and feedback on LXP to support Saga Group Learning Team. 
  • Maintain and update the STG area of the new LXP.
     
The Ideal Candidate
  • A Good understanding of the Digital Learning Ecosystem and authoring tools ideally Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or Camtasia.
  • A good working knowledge of the training design and development processes for training media.
  • Ability to work with a range of learning technologies and utilise new development tools.
  • Strong stakeholder management ability to inspire and influence.
  • Ability to create highly engaging, blended learning that aligns to desired business outcomes.
  • Good planning and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of the learning project cycle and digital learning methods: Agile development, ADDIE based project lifecycle.
  • Understanding of Learning theory and ability to take into consideration common learning difficulties & cater for neurodiversity.
  • Creating e-learning using authoring tools such as Articulate, Gomo.
  • Experienced designer with evidence of using relevant software including InDesign.
  • Video creation, from storyboarding, through production and editing.
  • Experience in managing content on LXP/LMS.
  • Project Management.
  • Cross team project work.
  • Experience designing e-learning to support technical or systems training.
