We are looking for a Site Energy Adviser to join our successful Ignite Energy team. This is a Site Based role.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Ignite are looking to recruit a Site Energy Adviser, this role will be a travelling position on an initial fixed term contract of 6 months.
  • The individual will be required to travel to customer sites once the project works have been completed to demonstrate how the newly installed building management system works and saves the customer energy.
  • The successful candidate will need to be comfortable talking to customers face to face and answering customer queries in non-technical terms to ensure each customer has a full understanding of what control they have over their heating and lighting systems.
  • The individual will need to complete a template training and demonstration form template to ensure a record has been kept of who has signed off the acceptance of the newly installed equipment.
  • The successful candidate will need to have good computer skills and have the ability to consistently follow company processes.
  • The successful candidate will be required to read and comply with the company Health & Safety Policy; taking reasonable care for the Health & Safety of themselves and others; co-operate with managers and other employees in fulfilling our objectives and statutory duties.

Candidate requirements

  • Excellent communications skills
  • Clean driving license
  • Use of personal vehicle insured for work purposes
  • Knowledge of Energy saving
  • Ability to explain how software and controls save energy to customers
