Sodexo have a fantastic opportunity for a P/Q Management Accountant to join the Allenby/Connaught Defence contract team in Tidworth, Wiltshire.
The role will be supporting the Head of Commercial Finance Defence and local contract management team with the main duties being the provision of financial support through the production of monthly management accounts, producing annual budgets and regular forecasts, managing the production of internal and external client monthly reporting models and packs along with driving improvements to the contracts results and supporting non-financial managers.
The ideal candidate would be studying towards a financial qualification, with proven experience working in a multi-site finance environment along with great people skills and a drive to improve.

Main Responsibilities
Completion and analysis of the monthly management accounts for the contract, including compilation of journals and posting, interrogation of variances and analysis of underlying business trends
Review labour management KPI’s and ensure that labour costs are proportioned to the correct areas
Produce the monthly reporting packs for the segment reviews in a timely and accurate fashion
Production of client facing monthly reports and commentary to support the presented results
Manage, maintain and review trading data for Retail and Catering operations to track and monitor these key performance areas
Using, maintaining and further developing complex macro based spreadsheets to access financial data from SAP via Essbase/SmartView
Support in the production of internal and client annual budgets and forecasts
Ensure all finance processes are delivered in accordance with group policy and in line with the reporting calendar and timetable
Actively identify and recommend process and procedural improvements
Provide support to services managers to develop their teams and assist in coaching managers in all finance and commercial areas
The Ideal CandidatePart qualified (CIMA/ACCA) with practical experience in a multi-site finance environment
Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
Experienced in Microsoft Office and complex Excel spreadsheets
Experience of SAP or other large accounting systems
Strong system/database design/management and extraction skills
Ability to work well with all levels of management and staff
A self-starter capable of working individually and as part of a team
