We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join our Service Charges team on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting, varied role where you will lead and manage the Service Charges team to develop and deliver the Service Charge accounting offering for all tenures. You will also work collaboratively with budget holders in achieving value for money for the Group and our customers and ensure the provision of finance and management accounting information for the Group.

We are looking for somebody who has:

Qualified as an accountant with accountancy experience, including at least 3 years experience at a supervisory level

At least 3 years’ experience in service charges or accounting in a large and complex organisation with substantial budgets

Considerable experience of leading a team in managing complex accounts

A detailed knowledge and understanding of Accounting Standards and Service Charge legislation

Experience of completing primary accounting statements

Considerable experience of working in partnership with finance and non-finance colleagues to achieve results

Experience of developing and delivering an excellent customer driven service to differing audiences and stakeholders

Please note that this is a home-based role with an occasional need to travel to Group offices and other locations as required. The team currently aim to meet in person around once a week and alternate the location between our Group offices based in Birmingham Business Park, Solihull and Central Park, Worcester.
