Fund Assistant Financial Controller

The role will be based in London or Manchester and will have the following responsibilities:

  • Working closely with external service providers to produce and review monthly NAV packs, quarterly and annual financial statements.
  • Have full oversight of the reporting on certain SPVs including to help manage the external audits.
  • Review of various deal cost invoices and subsequent cost control.
  • Liaising with internal personnel ensuring the timely turnaround of investor reporting deliverables and processes between us are operated efficiently and accurately
  • Work closely with Fund Treasury to support deal payments and collection tracking and reporting.
  • Providing technical fund accounting advice to projects and deals working closely with commercial teams.
  • Assist in budget preparations, accruals reconciliation and financial planning.
  • Improving existing and building additional processes to support the growth of the businesses

The successful applicant will have had the following exposure:

  • An accountancy qualification gained in practice or with relevant experience gained in an investment management firm
  • Strong Academics
  • Excellent attention to detail combined with strong organisational and time management skills
  • Drive and initiative - the desire to add value, proactive approach
  • Fast paced - ability to work on a variety of tasks with tight deadlines
  • Strong intellect - the ability to analyse and distil information quickly and effectively
