Shift: Wednesday to Saturday 06:00-18:30 (alternating Wednesdays)

As Logistics Team Leader you will lead a team to deliver the inbound or outbound processes safely and accurately in line with logistics plans including:

  • Directing team members to follow standard operating procedures and use allocated resources to deliver outputs as determined by the logistics plans
  • Supervising team activities to ensure safety, for self and others, at all times
  • Providing leadership and direction to the logistics teams to ensure that people are engaged, focused and achieving their full potential
  • Implementing and embedding continuous improvements by ensuring team members understand and use new/improved process, practices and systems to enhance team performance
  • Ensuring that all team members have the skills and understanding necessary to successfully complete their role and supporting on going development 
  • Producing all necessary documentation and information to ensure that a clear audit trail of activity is available for review and analysis
  • Participating as a member of a cross functional operations team to identify and build strong collaborative working relationships

  • Have prior experience of leading a team within a logistics/distribution environment 
  • Be able to demonstrate having implemented safety policies in role
  • Have good knowledge of distribution & warehousing ideally with some understanding of food distribution
  • Have good numeracy and literacy skills
