Business Development Manager - Education

Up to £65,000 depending on experience

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, passionate, and proactive individual to join our Restaurant Associates team. As Business Development Manager you will have an in-depth knowledge of the higher education sector. You will be responsible for leading and managing the bidding process, closing multiple tenders to achieve targets, independently developing your sales/retention pipeline whilst forming and maintaining strong relationships with multiple stakeholders.

Our Business Development Manager will proactively seek out new growth opportunities, ensuring sales and retention targets are met/exceeded in addition to

• Identifying and gathering market intelligence
• Taking responsibility for the management of CRM system
• Managing the end-to-end sales process
• Developing and delivering a sales strategy to maximise sales and profitability
• Ensuring completion of HSE legislative procedures

The successful Business Development Manager will

• Have an in-depth knowledge of, or experience within the higher education sector
• Knowledge of selling contracted services within the food industry
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Ability to deliver across different types of partnerships and a wide spectrum of clients and audience targeting
• Flexible and hard working - used to working to deadlines under pressure
• Effective communicator with good presentation skills and rapport with stakeholders across all levels of seniority
• Top notch numerical skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
