Tennial Personnel are seeking a permanent Specification Technologist to work for our client based in Ipswich you will be an active member of our clients team which helps deliver the technical goals in an effective manner for all parties, you will be attending customer and internal team meetings to ensure that projects are delivered in an efficient and effective manner ,along with ensuring that relationships with Key Customers are enhanced and that our clients activity ‘vibrates’ towards the achievement of their principal objectives ,you will be the first point of contact for assigned customers, supporting the commercial team in the technical area , and the first point of contact for new UK customers (industry & retail) you will be able to write and update specifications for customers in the area of responsibility, following approval process through specific customer software ,you will also be informed and updated on customer requirements, code of practice, and be responsible to circulate guidelines within our clients business making sure they are followed in new product development , you will be responsible for Claims generation and validation with our clients customers and be responsible for Quality standards generation and validation In cooperation with the packaging team you will also contribute to the AW process, making sure each step is performed OTIF ,you will be responsible for the definition of label size and content, including variable data and act as interface between customer and our clients QA for complaints, analysis and certificates ,you will participate to 1st production of new items and check that all the products attributes are in line with the specification ,and organize shipment of first production and Production test samples required by customers ,duties also include completing documents required by customers ,manage activities in AS400 , you will be motivated and have a positive approach and be results orientated, driven to succeed and excel , you will be a strong team player who cooperates and collaborates internally and externally. An excellent communicator, both in written terms and face to face.be comfortable communicating with people at all levels, internally and externally, build strong, mutually beneficial relationships. An excellent project manager – leading and working cross functionally to deliver projects.
