We are currently recruiting for a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team. 

Working within the Quality Team to support the ethos of implementing Positive Behaviour Support, by providing expertise, advice and support to colleagues and individuals we support, within our college, residential and supported living services. Successful candidates will carry a manageable caseload to support individuals who may be in crisis, focussing on mentoring colleagues within services and reducing PBS Practitioner input over time. This is a key role within the Quality Team, NCG Executive are fully committed to reducing restrictive interventions and are signed up to the Restraint Reduction Network. National Care Group is proud to be working closely with PBS uk who will provide regular clinical supervision to the successful candidate.

The role will require some flexibility due to the needs of the individuals we support and involve some overnight stays therefore a driving licence is essential.

To apply for this position you must have: 

  • Experience of working with adults in a Social Care or Health Care setting for at least 2 years
  • An accredited recognised qualification in Positive Behaviour Support
  • Experience of working with individuals with multiple and complex needs
  • Experience of practical application of Positive Behaviour Support
  • Experience of practical application of Active Support
  • A valid UK Driving License
  • Appreciation and understanding of Person-Centred Planning
