About the role

At Sodexo our family of Security workers are second to none and we’re looking for a Residential Assistant to join our dedicated and friendly team.

You’ll be playing a big part in keeping our prestigious building safe and secure, whilst ensuring our paperwork is kept up to scratch.

As our go to person, you’ll ensure all passes are processed correctly and ensure all protocols and procedures are always followed correctly in our working environment.

due to the nature of the role, you must hold a valid SIA Licence and have previous experience within this role.

48 hours per week
£9.84 per hour + BONUS
NIGHTS - 4 on 4 off 8pm-8am

*Please note this position is NIGHTSHIFT working 20:00-08:00 on a 4-on, 4-off basis*

The hours of work are any four nights of seven, on a rolling four-on-four-off basis. The rate of pay is £9.84 per hour, paid monthly, and this role is offered on a permanent basis.

We have a fantastic BONUS scheme in place meaning for every hour worked at site you earn an additional £1 per hour!

There are opportunities to increase your potential earnings with the ability to work extra shifts, covering vacancies that arise at your Approved Premise (AP) and within the region at other APs. For example, one extra shift worked per four day off period (approx. 4 per month) would boost potential earnings to approximately £30,000 per annum.

We are looking for security personnel to work alongside National Probation Service (NPS) residential workers, within secure homes for ex-offenders who are on license from the prison service and are making the transition back into the community.

This position offers a real sense of value and meaning as you work alongside the NPS team to support rehabilitation and help reduce re-offending amongst the residents, by helping to keep the site and the residents safe and secure overnight.
