Right now, as part of our continued growth plans within our West Midlands Region, we are seeking to recruit a Buyer to join our expanding Commercial Team to be based at our offices in Wolverhampton.

As a Buyer, you will provide a full range of cost control, forecasting and financial reporting duties on all aspects of materials supply and plant for construction work within your region. Working closely with the wider Commercial team, you will be responsible for the performance of the sites within your control. In particular this role will support our exciting new development at Drakelow Park in Burton on Trent.

Duties will include supporting the wider Commercial and Buying team with new products and innovation by investigating new solutions and innovations within the industry, producing materials budgets, placing orders for materials and plant, producing cost reports and working closely with internal and external stakeholders. You will have experience within a similar role and be knowledgeable in all areas of purchasing procedures, construction techniques and mixed-tenure schemes. Excellent attention to detail and strong written and verbal skills are essential.
