Shift available: days, any 5 days from 7, backshift 11am – 7pm (some flexibility will be required, eg. early start or long shift)

Rate: £11.86/hr

Paid Weekly (Thursday)

You may not have heard of us, but we’re sure you’ve tried our products because we supply food for the all the major supermarkets in the UK.

Here in Boston we employ around 800 colleagues and produce ready to eat salads, prepared vegetables and snacks for many of the major retailers such as Coop, Boots, Greggs, Asda, Aldi, Sainsbury's, Costco, Spar, Itsu and BOL.

Main Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Coordinator to join our Intake team based at Boston site.

As a Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and organising all goods in and out, ensuring that all products are managed effectively and safely.
  • Stock orders and products rotation.
  • Working closely with the management team and other departments and ensuring good communications are maintained within the area and with all departments.
  • Ensuring staffing levels (both perm and temp) are managed appropriately and coordinating Intake Operatives work.
  • Ensuring all paperwork completed is accurate, reliable, comprehensive and legible.
  • Taking ownership for product quality in the day to day running of the area.
  • Covering leave of colleagues and manage holiday/absence from the teams.
  • Ensuring any relevant CCP’s/Allergen Controls are adhered to.
  • Assisting in the active promotion of a safety culture and ensuring all health and safety requirements are met in the area.
  • Ensuring all company procedures are followed by all employees and that good hygiene and housekeeping practices are maintained at all times.
  • Ensuring that all product handling and manufacturing is done in a hygienic environment in compliance with food legislation.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Good level of English & Math - you will be required to follow processes and recipes, as well as ensuring the correct quantities are used in each batch.
  • Previous coordinator experience (or similar) is essential
  • Ideally experience in a chilled food manufacturing environment, but this isn't mandatory - other FMCG backgrounds will be considered.
  • Attention to detail. 
  • Basic understanding of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene.
  • Ability to work unsupervised. 
  • Right first-time approach.
