We are looking for a highly motivated Service Delivery (Operations) Manager to join our Operations Team, This role will be responsible for the efficient management of work through the company by co-ordinating information and requirements with appropriate service departments.

Key to this will be ensuring the correct governance and process is applied to client and project set up, resource allocation & conflict resolution and timesheet accuracy & completion.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Overseeing and ensuring that: Clients and their associated jobs / projects are set up correctly within resource management tools with the appropriate departments and rate cards assigned
  • Effective day-to-day workflow of the agency resource, interfacing with key department leads to ensure a unified adoption of process, governance, and documentation.
  • Ensuring resource is allocated to the appropriate service departments in line with budgets and resource is booked against the correct client & internal jobs with booking status, activity / department codes and narrative consistently applied.
  • With the support of the Operations Director, resolution of resource conflicts in line with the agency’s priorities and commercial needs.  
  • Work with dept heads to ensure timesheets are completed by all staff accurately, on time and with appropriate detail such as narrative.
  • In collaboration with the Operations Director, Service Delivery Director and Media & Performance Director evaluate and assess metrics and program effectiveness; assess and proactively monitor trends with suggestions for optimisation.
  • Supports the Operations Director in the development and implementation of processes, tools and initiatives that will support and improve the operations of the agency
  • Responsible for ensuring that the profitability of jobs and utilisation of personnel can be easily measured and forecast in real time with monthly reporting provided
  • Responsible for ensuring that booked time vs actual time worked can be easily measured with monthly reporting provided

 

 

WHAT WE NEED

Skills/experience: Have experience working within an agency in a multi-project environment.

 

Key Attributes:              Ability to demonstrate high performance behaviours including influence, empathy and team building.  Ability to analyse and resolve problems quickly and effectively.  Able to demonstrate tact, diplomacy, discretion and maturity in relation to interacting with people at all levels. Ability to analyse data, and create data driven reports to monitor performance on agreed areas.

 

Technology:                    Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite, Email and Internet. Specifically this role will require more advanced use of data analysis tools such as excel / google sheets / GDS. Paprika (or similar) and relevant reporting tools.
