The Acquisition Team is a large team that sits within the wider UK Customer Marketing Team.  Our primary role is to market both our magazine subscription and membership propositions across multiple marketing channels and platforms.  We are a creative and dynamic team who pride themselves on our ability to be reactive, work together and strive for excellence.  We are a friendly and welcoming team located across both the London and Peterborough UK offices.

The focus of your role:

As the Senior Social Marketing Executive, you will be a key part of the team with focus on:

  • Driving memberships through social media platforms
  • Working with brand and content teams to provide a cohesive social media strategy

Flexible Working

Main Responsibilities
  • Support in driving and delivering the Social Media plan for key brands to drive engagement and subscriptions with our brands building direct customer relationships as we transform our product proposition 
  • Managing all Social Media strategy for Memberships (content & data) and subscriptions, including the integration with Paid Social strategy
  • Working across all relevant social platforms to push organic content and coordinate with paid social strategy (Primarily Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)
  • Work closely with brand teams as well as content and performance marketing managers to provide cohesive social posts
  • Responsibility for reporting performance and managing budgets – working closely with the Group Performance Marketing Manager to ensure targets are met
  • Managing the affiliates program through Awin. Managing performance and budgets, identifying areas of opportunity and working with partners to drive subscriptions.
Person Specification

Essential

  • Previous experience working across social platforms
  • Advanced Adobe Photoshop skills (or equivalent)
  • Time management
  • Ability to communicate to internal team members as well as members from other teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work-streams
  • Creative thinking
  • Analysis and Reporting
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong copy writing skills

Desirable

  • Previous experience of working with and managing Affiliates programmes
