We are looking for a Senior Business Improvement Professional to join us at our site at Leeds.

  • Define stretching site financial GME targets, aligned with the divisional % ROI targets defined in current/next year budget and longer term strategic plans
  • Work with site and divisional colleagues to develop a pipeline of achievable GME initiatives capable of delivering the agreed GME targets
  • Manage delivery of GME initiatives within agreed timescales and financial targets, leveraging the skills/resource of the local GME/Operations team and negotiating additional skills/resource/ capital from additional stakeholders (Site/Division/Group/ Externals) where necessary
  • Support site management in deploying the Greencore Manufacturing Excellence Programme to full maturity, assisting with Process Confirmations to measure and drive adoption
  • Coach colleagues from Ops and related functions in the use of the GME toolkit to deliver business improvements
  • Assist the site in adopting the GME KPI suite and Performance Management Process (PMP) and promote their role in identifying future BI opportunities
  • Be an active member of the Greencore GME community, drawing from best practice standards to help drive coordinated group-wide performance improvement
  • Identify and coach/develop suitable non-GME colleagues into a GME-ready talent pool from which future GME recruits can be sourced

What we’re looking for
  • Experience within an FMCG environment preferred but not essential
  • Demonstrable ability to manage and engage people with change
  • Strong problem solving ability
  • Sound analytical mind-set with the ability to interpret and shape data
  • Should be comfortable with being hands-on in a working factory environment
